District officials want to have benefit of input from residents throughout its service area. Toward that end, residents are encouraged to call the District headquarters at (760) 723-2005. Or, you can share your thoughts through a secure e-mail at: [email protected].
There are other more public avenues for sharing your thoughts and ideas with District officials and the community-at-large, or for securing answers to questions that you think residents throughout the region should have access to. Two of these involved the social media; specifically, Nextdoor, and Facebook.
Additionally, over the next several months, the District will be conducting several half-hour Facebook Live chats, where residents can speak to District officials in ‘real-time’ and ask questions or voice their opinions. The first Live chat will be conducted with Fire Chief Stephen Abbott, followed by members of the Board of Directors and other “informed” individuals throughout the communities being served by the fire protection District. The District will be announcing specific dates for these live chats via the newsletter and social media outlets.
